On
9th July our re-supply boat anchored offshore and on it tucked
away somewhere were my supplies and new kit for the coming year,
like
RAB Vapour-rise,
Nutrience dog food,
Multimats,
Harcostar drums,
Allcord rope and
SMC snow anchors and carabiners.
A
friend picked fresh redcurrants strawberries, tayberries and
raspberries in England for me and dehydrated them using
UKJuicer’s Excalibur dehydrator. These were on the ship too.
Kids trampled the store employees
for fresh-off-the-boat sweets, fizzy pop and crisps.
To store my Nutrience dog food I rent out the old ammunition
hut.
Friends email to say they’ve been having difficulty phoning
me. One said they’d had a conversation with TalkTalk that went
something like this:
- I’ve having problems phoning Greenland.
- Where?
- Greenland.
- How do you spell it?
- G-R-E-E-N-L-A-N-D
- Can anyone phone there?
At that point I believe the conversation really did deteriorate.
